Nicoletta’s art is simply beautiful so I was so happy to be working with her for this tale of babbling brains and Hutt hijinks. Jabba’s palace is very special to me as it blew my mind when I first saw Return of the Jedi. I’d never seen so many aliens and critters on screen before, and of course Jabba himself was such a sickeningly wonderful creation. And then George Lucas went and made it weirder by adding brains in jars for the special edition. Of course, we had to include them in Return to Vader’s Castle...
