THE INSIDE TRACK
It’s a busy time as I prepare for my first trip across the Atlantic in two years, meeting up with the rest of the Star Wars: The High Republic story architects for a week of secret stuff. Hopefully you’ll forgive me if I don’t go into too much detail of what’s going on behind the scenes at the moment, as time is short and I’m racing to hit a deadline or two before getting on that plane.
BUT, as I realise I’m being mega-vague, I thought I’d give you lovely people a sneak peek at something I’m cooking up with ace comic artist, Nick Brokenshire.
What is it? Well, you’ll have to wait for more details but, as you can see, it looks GORGEOUS!
NEWS & UPDATES
- This is a cool thing. Star Wars: The High Republic #1 came in at number 10 in Diamond’s top 10 comic books by units sold for 2021.
Also cool is that Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters Alpha, scripted by my fellow High Republic architect, Mr. Charles Soule, came in one ahead of us at number 9!
Congratulations to everyone who worked on the books. I can’t believe we’re nearly at the end of the first Phase of High Republic comics, but trust me, exciting times are a-coming for our return in October!
