Stuff I like

OK, I’m totally nicking this from Jenny Colgan‘s website, but here, for no good reason and in no particular order, is stuff I like…

  • Doctor Who (no surprise there then)
  • Pastry (in all it’s forms)
  • James Bond (books and films)
  • Bristol City FC (most of the time)
  • The music of Frank Sinatra
  • Yorkies
  • The Archers (best guilty pleasure ever!)
  • Alan Partridge
  • Coffee
  • Kune Kune pigs
  • Faggots and mash
  • The Bride of Frankenstein
  • David Bowie
  • Geeky t-shirts
  • Local folklore books
  • Wandering around National Trust places
  • Batman
  • The SS Great Britain
  • Bubble and Squeak
  • Greg Davies
  • A-ha
  • Ghostbusters
  • Custard Creams
  • Hammer Horror films on autumn nights
  • Magazine covers
  • M&Ms (especially peanut ones)
  • The Apprentice
  • Spotting a barn owl flying at night
  • Toad in the hole
  • Pretty much anything by Neil Gaiman
  • A nice cup of tea (actually I’d prefer a mug)
  • Gavin and Stacy
  • Peanut butter
  • Bristol Central Library
  • The Avengers (as in Steed and co.)
  • 2000AD
  • Bourbon Biscuits
  • Blake’s 7
  • The darts world championships
  • Otters
  • Christmas pudding with custard (only cream when its cold)
  • The League of Gentlemen
  • Hellboy
  • Morecambe and Wise
  • Mad Men
  • Really, really old trees
  • Bread pudding

There’s probably lots more – in fact I know there is – but that’s what came out in a stream of consciousness. Not sure what it says about me. Not a lot, other that I also like self-indulgent lists probably.

Also, before people start shouting at me, please take it as red that I also like my wife and my children. A lot. Even more than Doctor Who!

    • OK, now I’m intrigued over which bits you agree or disagree with.

I dread to think what a psychologist would make of it!
