Star Wars Adventures: Ghosts of Vader’s Castle #1

It's time to return to Mustafar...

There’s a chill in the air, the nights are getting shorter, it can only mean one thing… Halloween is just around the corner!

This signifies three things…

A) I will be drinking too many pumpkin lattes.

B) I will be overdosing on scary stories (well, even more than usual) and…

C) VADER’S CASTLE IS BACK!

In fact, the spooky season starts right now with Star Wars Adventures: Ghosts of Vader’s Castle #1 – Dawn of the Droids hitting stores.

Here’s a sneak peak inside this issue as originally revealed on comicwatch:

I’m thrilled (or should that be chilled?) to join forces once again with Francesco Francavilla to bring you the eerie stories that lurk within Vader’s lair.

Issue 1 features spine-tingling art from Francesco (with a new framing story that stars Lina and Milo Graf from Tales from Wild Space) and Megan Levans (featuring Anakin, Padme and Jar Jar versus a horde of slavering zombie droids!)

Colours in the issue are by Francesco Francavilla and Charles Kirchoff, letters by Shawn Lee, and the book is edited by Heather Antos and Riley Farmer.

Here’s the full solicitation:

Join Creepy Cavan Scott, Frightening Francesco Francavilla, and a host of eerie Star Wars artists in the epic conclusion to the Vader’s Castle saga! Star Wars Adventures: Ghosts of Vader’s Castle is a horror-packed, star-studded, five-week event guaranteed to haunt your dreams.

In issue #1, life is looking up for Lina and Milo Graf and Crater, but Milo has been having nightmares… about zombie droids! Find out what’s causing these dreams and if Milo can handle being haunted by the GHOSTS OF VADER’S CASTLE.

Guest-starring Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala, and Jar Jar Binks!

This is it, the story we’ve been working towards for the last four years.

Prepare to enter Vader’s fortress one last time… if you dare…
