My followers on Instagram witnessed me signing a whopping 1,000 book plates for Star Wars: The High Republic – The Rising Storm (coming this June from Del Rey blatant plug fans!)

Needless to say, it took a long, long, loooooong time, although I did chronicle the process in a couple of Instagram reels. Here’s part one and part two! My hand has just about stopped hurting!

I’ve never understood why people want to own a piece of the author’s pain and boredom. If, while signing my book, my boy was thinking, “I’m almost to 750, someone please kill me,” would I want that book? 🤔
