Happy New Comic Book Day!
Doctor Who: Ninth Doctor #13 lands today and is a little side-step that focuses on Captain Jack Harkness in his Time Agent days, before he joined the Doctor and Rose in the TARDIS.
This one was great fun to write, giving Jack some James Bond moments, while also dealing with elements of his past. There’s a fair few little easter eggs for eagle-eyed fans in there too.
Art for the issue is expertly handled by Cris Bolson with colours by Marco Lesko.
I love working with Cris, especially when he gets to design a load of fantastic aliens. Here’s a preview of the first few pages:
