Dangerous fruit, ninjabread men and giant babies – creating stories at Bromley Heath School in Bristol!

Just spent a fantastic two days leading creative workshops at Bromley Heath Junior School in Bristol. Together, we had great fun brainstorming stories that saw the school transported to strange new worlds.

Some of my favourites included:

dangerous fruit– A candy world where the school came under attack from a band of Ninjabread Men. (Ninjabread Men!! Seriously, how good is that pun?)

– A volcano full of bubbling spaghetti bolognese instead of lava (where the kids had to escape over a spaghetti rope bridge, naturally!)

– The back of a giant (and particularly smelly) baby.

– A zoo for dangerous fruit and vegetables rather than animals. (In particular, watch out for the man-eating strawberries!)

– A top-secret spy base disguised as a greasy fish and chip shop.

Some top imaginations at work there! Even if most of the stories seemed to reveal that the teachers were a) evil, b) smelly or even sometimes both. Sorry about that, staff of BHJS!
