Come to my comic workshops at the Doctor Who Experience this August

Award-winning comic artist RACHAEL STOTT (12th Doctor,
Planet of the Apes/Star Trek) will now be joining me for the workshops,
which we’ll be running at 11.30am, 12.45pm and 2.00pm on both days!

I’m pleased to report that I’m hosting two Doctor Who comic days at the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff this August. Here’s the blurb from the website:

DESIGN YOUR OWN DOCTOR WHO COMIC STRIP – 10th AUGUST & 17th AUGUST
Cavan Scott, comic book author on the Titan comics Doctor Who range, will be showing us exactly what goes into writing and creating a comic strip in our Doctor Who Gallery on Wednesday 10th and Wednesday 17th August. Learn from expert himself and get the opportunity to create your very own Doctor Who comic story!

There will be a number of workshops through the day in which I show how the comics are put together from script to page, and also give top tips to create your own comics. I’ll also be happy to sign any of my Doctor Who comics, books or audios. I can’t wait (and not just because it gives me another chance to geek out over all the costumes, sets and monsters at the Experience – honest!)

If you missed the brilliant Target Covers exhibition at the Cartoon Museum earlier this year, the gallery of original cover art will also be on show at the Experience, as will the best covers of Doctor Who Magazine‘s record-breaking 500 issue run.
