Classic comic fun and Mega-City thrill power in brand new collections

Need some last minute Christmas presents? Well, let me help with two recent collections that include some of my previous work.

Cor!! Buster

First up is the Cor!! Buster Bumper Fun Book which collects Rebellion’s Cor!! Buster specials that bring back loads of wonderful characters from the IPC weekly comics of yesterday, perfect for younger comic fans (as well as the young at heart of course!) What’s great about these collections is that they’re not just nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake; they update the characters while still remaining loyal to what made them great in the first place.

Both of my Frankie Stein stories are reprinted here, the first with art by Mike Hoffman, the second with art by Steve Mannion.

Alongside Frankie, you’ll find such classic British comic characters as Sweeny Toddler, Kid Kong, Gums, Deadly Hedley, Ivor Lott & Tony Broke, Creature Teacher, Duck Turpin and, of course, Buster.

It’s the nearest we’ve got to the Buster, Whizzer & Chips, Monster Fun and Whoopee annuals I loved as a kid. Visit the 2000AD website for how to buy.

Judge Dredd

Sticking with 2000AD, Abaddon have just collected together a host of the Judge Dredd prose short stories that have appeared in the Judge Dredd Megazine over the years.

Judge Fear’s Big Day Out and Other Stories is a whopping 436 pages and features two of my shorts Dog Fight (from Megazine number 299, back in March 2005) and Roaches (from issue 338 which came out in July 2013).
