Perhaps mankind should’ve expected it, given the destruction humanity has wrought upon the planet Earth. Acres of forests bulldozed, waterways polluted, animal life drive to extinction – there was always going to be a point in which the world decided that enough was enough, and Mother Nature would turn against the people that lived upon its surface and treated it so disrespectful. So it came without warning – when Earth’s flora and fauna mutated and suddenly started attacking everyone. Quickly, civilisation crumbled as systems of government, TV and the internet all collapsed, leaving survivors to fend for themselves…

ANDERSON, PSI DIVISION
Mega-City One, 2143 AD. Psi-Division is a section of Justice Department that specialises in Judges with accentuated psychic talents — from precognition to exorcism, projection to pyrokinesis, it deals with all manner of paranormal crimes, and is often the city’s first defence against supernatural threats. Cassandra ANDERSON is Justice Department’s top telepath — warm, empathetic and often flippant, she’s not your usual Judge, and she still sees the good in the Big Meg’s citizens.
