With over 20 years of experience in award-winning audio drama, Cavan is a scriptwriter, script editor and producer who has worked for Audible, BBC Audio, Penguin Random House Audio and Big Finish Productions.
In a galaxy far, far away, he has written Star Wars: The High Republic – Tempest Runner and its sequel Tempest Breaker, as well as Audie finalist Star Wars Dooku: Jedi Lost.
For Audible, he has co-written two full cast Sherlock Holmes dramas, the audible original Voice of Treason and a new adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle classic The Hound of the Baskervilles starring Colin Salmon as Sherlock Holmes and Stephen Fry as Dr. Watson.
His audio career began at Big Finish Productions with Doctor Who – Project: Twilight and continued with numerous full-cast Doctor Who adventures, Judge Dredd, Highlander, The Omega Factor, Iris Wildthyme, Pathfinder Legends and The Confessions of Dorian Gray.
After co-writing the Scribe award-winning Blake’s 7: The Armaggedon Storm, Cavan went on to produce Big Finish’s Blake’s 7 range as well as Doctor Who: The New Adventures, Iris Wildthyme and Vienna starring Chase Masterson (Deep Space Nine) and Samantha Béart (Baldur’s Gate 3.)
He is currently developing a new full-cast dramatised podcast with George Mann for Strange Matter Media.
