It’s new book day! Wit, Wisdom and Timey-Wimey Stuff hits the shops today! Compiled by Mark Wright and little old me, it’s a collection of the best quotes from the last 50 years of Doctor Who.
I was down at Forbidden Planet in London signing 150 copies of the book on Tuesday. Mark’s there today doing the same, so if you fancy getting a copy signed by both of us, head to the Shaftesbury Avenue Megastore.
The first reviews are already in too:
Starburst Magazine says:
At a more festive time of year we would describe this as an essential stocking filler for Whovians of any age; for now all we’ll will say is that the boys have done good and we wonder what they will produce for us next time.
Sci-Fi Bulletin meanwhile comments:
The sort of person who loves to quiz their friends on their Who knowledge will find this a godsend – all the important information is given (and we have an ‘official’ title for the Children in Need pre-Christmas Invasion special) – and if you’re looking for an apposite quote for a book epigram then the index will be very useful. As with Who-ology, the book is enlivened with illustrations by Ben Morris including some nice spreads.
Wit, Wisdom and Timey-Wimey Stuff is available from all good bookshops, including Amazon.
