Who-ology on sale – Cavan Scott and Mark Wright’s ‘Carnival of Minutiae’

Who-ology hits bookshelves today and seems to already be going down well. Loving these comments posted on Facebook by Scott Matthewman of the Stage:

Have thoroughly enjoyed Cavan Scott and Mark Wright’s carnival of minutiae – a romp through fifty years of facts (fiction and nonfiction) in easily digestible miscellany form. Dip in, or read right through – you’ll find something of interest, and learn something new. It feels thorough without being nitpickingly completist – but you know that any publication which includes Hot Ice ’86 in a list of Doctor Who stage shows has got to be classy.

This is exactly what we were hoping for, something for new fans and the old guard too.

If you want to find out more about Who-ology then I suggest picking up Doctor Who Magazine issue 460, also out today. It features a special preview of the book, interviewing both me and Mark.

Elsewhere online you can also win one of three copies over at Cultbox, but if you can’t wait the book itself is available in all good bookshops.

Alternatively, you can buy it from Amazon where, at the time of writing, it is #1 in the Doctor Who chart, #1 in the Television Guides & Reviews charts and #2 in Music, Stage and Screen: Science Fiction.

Excuse me while I indulge myself in a little whoop!
