This is fantastic news about Jack’s return to Doctor Who, and the 9th stories I feel were the best as we saw a different Jack to the one who mellowed more with the 10th and afterwards with Torchwood. This Jack was still reeling from the absence of 2 years of his life taken by the Agency. Best novel of the 9th which made me realise just how different Jack was to how he is now would be Deviant Strain by Justin Richards.
So I am looking forward to reading the new stories and saving up for the comics.
