Star Wars: The High Republic tops the New York Times Bestseller List

Congratulations to my friends Charles Soule and Justina Ireland for smashing the New York Times bestseller list for Star Wars: The High Republic.

Charles’ Light of the Jedi debuted at number one yesterday, with Justina’s A Test of Courage coming in at number two on the Children’s list.

We are all so grateful for the amazing support that Star Wars fans have given us in the week since launch. You are the best!

Congratulations are also due for everyone else who has had a hand in the books’ success from Jennifer Heddle, executive editor at Lucasfilm and Del Rey’s very own Elizabeth Schaefer and Thomas Hoeler to Lyssa Hurvitz, Disney Publishing’s amazing Publicity Manager who has been working tirelessly on the launch.

And, last but no means least, is Lucasfilm Publishing’s Creative Director, Michael Siglain. Mike is the mastermind behind the entire initiative and has worked so hard behind the scenes, championing us every step of the way.

And best of all this is only just the beginning!

Next month sees the release of Star Wars: The High Republic #2 from the Marvel series on 3rd February, with sales already looking very strong.

Meanwhile, Claudia Gray’s YA novel, Into the Dark goes on sale a day before on 2nd February, with Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures by Daniel Jose Older, Harvey Tolibao and Rebecca Nalty hitting comic stores on 3rd February.

Don’t miss them!
