What? It’s Saturday afternoon and I haven’t posted my weekly Beano plug?
I’m slipping – but don’t worry, you still have until Tuesday to pick up this week’s copy! Phew!
There’s two strips by me this week. First up is Bananaman, with art from Wayne Thompson. Poor old nana-noodle finds himself financially embarrassed and hasn’t even got enough money for his favourite comic. Luckily, there are some old fiends, er, I mean friends on hand to give him a job!
Later, Roger the Dodger is disappointed when a surprise school trip turns out to be a boring lecture at Beanotown Museum. Luckily, he has a T-Rex-sized dodge up his sleeve to get out of it. Of course, there’s nothing boring about Barrie Appleby’s art!
