A pleasant surprise today. The first advance copy of Adam’s Farm – My Life on the Land, the book I recently wrote with Countryfile’s Adam Henson, arrived today. It’s a memoir of a year in the life of Adam, packed with stories of life on his beautiful farm in the Cotwolds.
It’s out in March and marks the end of a three-book Countryfile project for me and my last work for Countryfile for a while – an association that started when I launched the magazine back in 2007. I hope that there will be more to come.
In the meantime, I’m up to my eyes in another, at the moment secret, book for the beeb and this one is rather different. There’s certainly no sheep or oxen in this latest project, although there are a few beasts…
