New Doctor Who Novel Events: MCM London and Bradford Literature Festival

I’m joining fellow Doctor Who novelists Mike Tucker and Jonathan Morris for a couple of upcoming events at MCM London 2017 in May, and Bradford Literature Festival in July.

MCM London is first on Friday 26th May. It’s my first MCM, so I’m looking forward to it a lot.

Here are the details:

The Doctor is in – A conversation with DOCTOR WHO novelists
Friday 26th May
12:15pm – 1:30pm
Location: Lower Platinum Suite, Excel

Peter Capaldi may be wrapping up his time as the famous Time Lord on our tellies but he’s still got plenty of adventures left in print.  Join Doctor Who novelists Mike Tucker (Doctor Who: Diamond Dogs) Jonathan Morris (Doctor Who: Plague City) and Cavan Scott (Doctor Who: The Shining Man) as they discuss all things writing the world’s most famous time traveller.

We’ll be signing books afterwards, courtesy of Forbidden Planet.

Next comes Bradford Literature Festival on Sunday 2nd July. Here the lowdown:

Enter the Whoniverse
Sunday 2nd July
2:45pm – 4pm
Location: University of Bradford

Calling all Whovians! Doctor Who has been defeating monsters and saving planets for well over 50 years. Join us as we discover the secrets of the Time Lord with the writers who bring him to life.

Authors Jonathan Morris, Cavan Scott, and Mike Tucker have all spent time in the Whoniverse and written thrilling new adventures, the latest of which feature the Doctor and his newest companion, Bill. With in-depth knowledge of everything Whovian, these writers will provide a unique and un-rivalled insight, making this event an absolute must see event for fans and fantasy lovers alike.

Be prepared for a frightfully good time as we discuss everything from the Shining Men to the Night Doctor, and delve into the stories of one of the universe’s best loved heroes.

Chaired by author and journalist, David Barnett.

Again, we’ll be happy to sign books afterwards. Tickets are available from the Bradford Literary Festival website.

Hopefully I’ll see some of you at these events. Don’t forget to check out my events page for all my upcoming appearances.
