OK, so it’s actually been out since the beginning of the month, but I’ve only just got my author copies through. As you might guess from the title, Skylanders Universe: The Complete Collection is, er, a collection that covers all 321 Skylanders. There’s a fact file for every Skylander in the games so far, including all the different SWAP Force combinations.

It’s the kind of book I would have loved as a geeky kid. I still remember poring over the fact files in the back of Marvel Super Hero Secret Wars, and immediately started to make up my own heroes using the same format. In fact, I still like a good fact file today. Yesterday, I wrote one for one of the main characters in Sovereign. Got a bit carried away and now know far more about her than I did before. Will all come in useful I’m sure, even if most of it doesn’t end up in the books.
