Introducing Krash Test Bunny

Cheesefinger, yesterday...

London is in danger. A terrible pong is spreading across the capital leaving chaos in its whiffy wake. Londoners are fleeing their homes, workers are fainting at their desks and tourists are wishing they’d gone to visit Swindon instead. What is the origin of this offensive odour? Why, the River Thames has been transformed into a sea of stinky stilton by that rascally rotter, Cheesefinger!

Luckily, as readers of Nitro issue 106 will know, help is on hand in the form of Krash Test Bunny, Britain’s newest secret agent. Krash has actually been around for a while, appearing in a number of Nick Nitro and Booster strips, but ‘Cheesefinger’ is the first of a new adventures that sees him enlisted by the Ministry of Secret Shenanigans. Can the world’s clumsiest rabbit  become Britain’s greatest secret agent? Or will Sir Percy Plotpoint, head of M.O.S.S, finally realise that Krash is a bit, well, rubbish?

Krash Test Bunny in Cheesefinger by Cavan Scott and Dave Windett

Nitro have commissioned a further eight strips so I’m going to enjoy finding out, ably assisted by the wonderfully talented Dave Windett. Dave is a real veteran of British comics having drawn everyone from Count Duckula and Korky the Cat to Inspector Gadget and She-Ra! You can check out his blog here.

Elsewhere in the issue, Nick and Booster face peril of their own in another of my strips. ‘Guff-napped’ sees the parping puppy abducted by aliens. Cripes! Will Nick (and Krash) be able to save him?

You’ll have to wait until issue 107 to find out!
