Fact 1. I’ve promised my wife I won’t buy any more geek junk. I have batmobiles. I have Transformers. I have LEGO. I have remote-controlled Daleks, Davroses and K9s. Even I appreciate we’ve run out of room. If any more ‘collectables’ appear in the house there’s every chance she will move me into the shed, or back to my mother’s or bury me beneath the patio.
