DOTHA Interview #8 – Jeremy Simser

Next in a series of mini-interviews with the creators of the Death of the Horror Anthologyavailable to support RIGHT NOW on Kickstarter.

Today, I talk to the artist on my story, Jeremy Simser…

Hello fellow DOTHA creator. Please introduce yourself and your story in the collection…

I’m Jeremy Simser and I’m providing the art for Stalkers.

What do you find scarier in horror stories: inhuman monsters or monstrous humans?

Depends on the story, I think there is an argument for both. But I do love a good monster story!

What scary movie, book or comic do you think every horror fan should experience?

Movie – So many to choose from… Alien, though, I think.
Book – IT.
Comic – 30 Days of Night.

Tell me something cool about Stalkers.

It’s cool all through, but the kicker at the end is pretty great!

What’s your top tip for creating a scary story?

It’s all in the characters and mood.  Our story takes place in broad daylight and still manages to stay creepy.
