Denton is officially the coolest city in Texas today, perhaps the coolest city in all of the USA.
Why? Well, it all started when More Fun Comics and Games booked this variant cover of Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor issue one:
That’s the Denton County Courthouse on the front cover as drawn by artist Jake Ekiss.
In honour of the cover, Tim Stoltzfus of More Fun Comics and Games arranged a day of Whovian rejoicing outside the building and – here comes the cool bit – the mayor has officially declared that the 4th April is Doctor Who Day in Denton.
