Announcing From A Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back

As I’ve just announced on Twitter, I’ve contributed to the second Star Wars: From A Certain Point of View anthology.

The first collection came out in 2017, celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars A New Hope and immediately hit the New York Times Bestseller list.

The second anthology hits stores November 10th and this time focuses on The Empire Strikes Back. Once again, there are 40 stories by 40 authors, with each writer, including myself, giving their proceeds to First Book — a charity that provides new books, learning materials, and other essentials to educators and organisations that benefit children in need.

As StarWars.com said when they announced the book:

The anthology series From a Certain Point of View is set to return with From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back, celebrating 40 years of Episode V and arriving November 10. Like its predecessor, From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back will feature 40 stories by 40 authors reimagining the classic sequel through the eyes of background characters — heroes, villains, droids and creatures.

And here is Will Staehle’s cover, sans the contributors names which are set to be revealed this coming Monday, 16th June.

In the meantime, you can get sneak peeks at who has joined me in contributing by following the #FromaCertainPOVStrikesBack on Twitter.

And before you ask, I can’t say which character features in my story. Needless to say, it’s a very different tale to my story in the original collection!

All will be revealed soon…
