Bursting from the pages of Star Wars: The High Republic – The Rising Storm, former Jedi turned sabre-for-hire Ty Yorrick takes on a new mission to discover the truth behind a monster attack on a distant planet.
This four-issue mini-series was original written as a graphic novel for Disney Publishing in Milan and sees me teaming up again with my former Doctor Who collaborator, Racheal Stott for her first Star Wars work.

Issue 1 (11 August 2021)
Ty is a brave yet superstitious monster hunter, traversing the galaxy with KL-03 and her trusty rune-stones fighting the deadliest monsters on any world. After dealing with an escaped Drewen being transported to the Republic Fair, Ty heads to Loreth, where local pioneers have tasked her with taking on the fearsome Gretalax that terrorizes them. She takes the mission but can’t shake the feeling that something is amiss with the Force.
Issue 2 (15 September 2021)
Ty begins the trek up Temple Peak, but the mountain’s hungry creatures and slippery edges put her rusty Force skills to the test. Dangerous monsters, cliffs, and battles are second nature for Ty, though. But dealing with people? Well, that may be the hardest part of her mission..
Issue 3 (27th October 2021)
The time has come—Ty has reached the Gretalx layer and now she must do what she does best: slay the beast! But during the battle, her rusty Force powers trigger a cave in, trapping her and Drewen with the monster. As the Gretalax and Rock Weavers close in on the pair, Ty feels an unexpected presence in the Force…
Issue 4 (10 November 2021)
In the final part, Ty uncovers the truth deep in the Gretalax's cave and must make a choice: the way of the Jedi or the way of the monster hunter? She must choose fast in order to protect the villagers and bring harmony to the settlement.
