Who-ology enters the Sunday Times Bestsellers List

Sunday-Times-BestsellersBig news to start the week with.

Mark Wright and I are now officially Sunday Times Bestselling authors.

Who-ology has entered the Sunday Times Bestseller Hardbacks List at number 10!

I believe, it’s also the first BBC Doctor Who book to make the list!

Needless to say I am chuffed to little pieces and more than a little humbled.

And the reviews keep coming in. At Eye of Horus Matthew Walter says:

Categorised into effective eight chapters and with an extensive Appendix, Doctor Who – The Official Miscellany is like a printed Sonic Screwdriver; multi-functional, credible and essential, and it certainly supersedes the BBC Books 1997 ‘official’ publication, Doctor Who – The Books of Lists (Justin Richards & Andrew Martin).

Andy Barbieri of the Geeky Nerfherder says:

This is a book that fans of Doctor Who will enjoy. A perfect celebration of the longest running science fiction TV series.

While Andy McArdell says at CultBox:

This miscellany is great for dipping in and out of and will doubtless raise a chuckle or too, as well as becoming a useful reference bible for fans.

All brilliant stuff. Still so grateful to Albert DePetrillo of BBC Books for asking us to write our feast of Doctor Who facts and our editor, Justin Richards for asking a host of difficult questions that made the book even better. And Ben Morris, of course, who supplied the wonderful illustrations. Ooh, look, this is turning into an Oscar acceptance speech. Don’t worry I won’t blub.

Who-ology is available from all good bookshops as well as Amazon and, now, on Kindle.
